Cornish WebServices believe in offering a quality PPC management service. PPC Management Services offered

We are not tied in to any particular PPC bid analysis or bid tracking package. This is intentional, allowing us to select the optimum method for each client, and to change packages as improvements are made to some of them. We are also flexible in the manner in which we manage PPC campaigns. For some clients we set up the account and manage the entire process including topping up the ad account funds. For other clients we handle just the keyword selection, bid prices, ad copy and tracking analysis. This leaves payment of the PPC provider to the client.

Included within our PPC management services is initial keyword selection, loading or editing the campaign data, monitoring the results and proactively making changes to optimise the campaign settings. Frequency of monitoring does depend on budget and the level of monitoring required, but is typically 3-10 times more often than the reporting interval.

For most clients we also periodically check for click-through fraud, and in the last year have several times contacted PPC service providers on a client's behalf when log files look suspicious.

PPC Management Quality Control

At the end of 2004, Google AdWords launched a Google AdWords Professional exam. From 1st January 2005, Cornish WebServices adopted a policy of only using staff who have passed the Google AdWords Professional Exam to manage client PPC accounts. We think we were the first UK PPC management company to operate this policy. This ensures we can offer the highest standard of service to all clients.

Pay per click (PPC) Tracking services

The major pay per click providers (Google and Yahoo) provide tracking systems to allow you to monitor the effectiveness of your advertising spend. Google's system does require either a small logo (Google Site Stats) or a text link to appear on your final destination page. As part of our pay per click services, Cornish WebServices can implement and monitor these tracking systems.

It is also possible to use other 3rd party PPC tracking systems - although most of these work best only on Yahoo and other non-Google pay per click systems.

In 2008 our preferred option for pay per click monitoring is a mixture of several methods. In addition to using tracking provided by the PPC provider, we sometimes import the PPC report data into other tracking software as this enables an analysis of both PPC data and visitors who have arrived either naturally through the search engines or via email newsletters.

Tracking systems work best when used in conjunction with other data such as web statistics or page tracking systems. Cornish WebServices can provide analysis from these various systems and produce a concise monthly management report on your website activity as part of the par per click management service.

Company History in Pay per Click marketing services

By the beginning of 2004, with Google being very slow to update its search engine indexes, the market for pay per click advertising grew rapidly and we started providing PPC campaign management services for clients across a variety of market sectors. As this market grows, so does the importance of making the correct decisions with regards your PPC budget. Larger businesses can often save thousands of pounds by employing the services of people who understand the PPC market in detail.

At the very end of 2004, Google launched a Google AdWords Professional exam. From 1st January 2005, Cornish WebServices have had a policy of only using staff who have passed the Google AdWords Professional Exam to manage client PPC accounts. We were the first UK PPC management company to operate this policy. This ensures we can offer the highest standard of service to all clients.

Cornish WebServices are based in Kent, UK but also work from other locations within the UK (this enables us to offer a higher level of service in the event of (say) power or telecommunications disruption. The majority of our original PPC clients were based in Kent, but we now provide PPC management services to businesses and organisations located throughout the UK and also abroad. We have a growing client base of businesses located outside the UK for whom we provide pay per click services into the UK market place.

We have current experience of target markets within the UK as a whole, within geographical sectors of the UK and International markets. Just over half of our experience is within the BSB markets for which Google AdWords is by far the most important PPC provider. We also have extensive experience of many consumer target markets. For many of these although Google AdWords is still the dominant pay per click provider. Yahoo pay per click can sometimes provide a good ROI, but costs more to monitor.

There are other PPC providers (for example Mirago or ESpotting) which we can also work with - but we now only use these after setting up Google AdWords accounts as in our experience the ROI is usually much less and checking against fraudulent clicks is necessary.

Pay per click service prices

Contact us for a realistic quotation as there are many different factors that influence the cost of a pay per click management service. We offer significant discounts to existing clients of website design or search engine optimisation services. We are happy to charge using a variety of different methods (see pay per click management prices within the industry for a fuller explanation of the many different options available), but our preferred method is a monthly fee based upon the target market segment and the clients' existing website.

Cornish WebServices think that this is the best option for pricing a pay per click management service. This allows us, as the Internet Marketing company, the scope of reducing pay per click advertising spend and of increasing significantly the number of target keywords without affecting our profit.

The exact price that Cornish WebServices charge for pay per click management services depend upon:

  • Your Target market - some markets are more straightforward, less competitive or more static than others. Rapidly evolving markets offer excellent opportunities to exploit new niche markets (at relatively low cost with a high return on investment) before competitors follow suit. Cornish Webservices do not always rely on standard industry tools for analysis (these are great for matching your competitors) but try to use different analysis methods to allow our clients to exploit new market trends more quickly than competitors.
  • Website design - some websites are more search engine friendly than others. Pay per click works much better and produces a higher ROI for websites that are accessible, search engine friendly and actually contain some interesting readable content.
  • Other Internet marketing services offered - many of the tasks that should be performed by a professional PPC (pay per click management) service are identical or have significant overlap with website design, website redesign, website maintenance, search engine optimisation and natural search engine optimisation services. Significant reductions (over 50%) in cost of pay per click management services can be offered if Cornish WebServices provide others services as well.
  • Frequency of reports- producing client reports takes more time (and hence costs more) than simply monitoring and analysing the pay per click, tracking and/or web statistics. Cornish WebServices normally produce a monthly summary management report, with some supporting data, highlighting the pay per click performance and any significant actions taken. More frequent or more detailed pay per click performance reports cost more. For some not-for-profit organisations and for low advertising budgets we can provide a pay per click management service with quarterly reports. These are not standard reports (we have never yet discovered 2 identical clients) but are tailored to the individual market.

    We are also able to offer the option of standard reports from many of the automatic PPC management packages.

We run campaigns using several different pay per click service providers. In our experience (based on existing clients), the best ROI for UK business and consumer markets is usually from Google AdWords. But even within the UK, the relative benefits of Google AdWords, Yahoo and ESpotting vary from one market sector to another.

We have experience in managing a very broad range of budgets from a few hundred pounds up to many tens of thousand per month. The services we offer vary with advertising budget.

We do not publish details of these clients and their budgets on the Internet as it is not our policy to publicise valuable client marketing information. Google AdWords does not reveal this information, so our policy is to do likewise. (We have sometimes been able to make valuable use of such information that other PPC companies have published regarding their clients).

As a general guide, when we take over the management of an existing PPC campaign, we achieve on average either savings in advertising cost of 40-50% or a similar increase in the number of clicks per month. Historically we have obtained the largest benefits for clients in the most competitive markets.
