Skill Base & Expertise

Most of this consultancy work is carried out by the following individuals, but we sometimes draw on the expertise of others from our website design team when appropriate.

Dr Rachel Cornish is an Associate Fellow of Warwick Business School in International Marketing and Information Systems. She has co-authored the Information Strategy module for Warwick Business School's distance learning MBA programme, and tutors in topics such as Information Strategy, Information Management and International Marketing. She is a Qualified AdWords Professional and has extensive practical experience of both Internet Marketing and implementing knowledge based systems for a varied range of organisations.

Mr James Miller is our website usability expert having worked on projects in this specific area. Within the area of 'usability' we include topics such as webpage hotspots and designing webpages for turning visitors into sales leads. He is also a Qualified AdWords Professional and has practical experience of both designing, implementing and marketing websites to improve both usability and return on investment. James is also responsible within Cornish WebServices for implementing and testing some of the newer Internet technologies and applications as there is a great advantage in being the first in any new business area.

David C is our expert on security and encryption technologies, whether this be on a website, server, your PC or using email. He is another of our qualified PPC Professionals.

Tony provides much of our accessibility testing using the JAWS screen reader, and also some general usability and proof reading advice on the website text - in fact almost all of the work that does not require sight. He has a huge amount of previous expertise in systems testing, and takes a key role in our accessibility audits.

When dealing with business strategy, others sometimes provide expertise in particular areas such as finance and contracts (Alison), translation and ethics (Peter) and database integrity (Simon). For particular markets or areas (eg Pharmacy, Social Care) that have specific legal or policy requirements we work collaboratively with other consultants who have this specialist knowledge.

Cornish WebServices provide copy writing services, and Merlin, Rowena and David L provide much of this work, specifically search engine optimised web copy.

Cornish Webservices increasingly provide Interational Marketing sevices and have created websites, performed SEO and managed PPC campaigns in a variety of langauges. For website translation work we always use native speakers to translate into their mother tongue, but we have staff, programmers or developers able to understand the foilowing langauges: English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Rumanian, Russia, and Arabic and have created websites in most of these languages.
