Gatwick Guest House Association
The Gatwick Guest House Association is a group of guest houses, hotels and bed and breakfasts around Gatwick. They required our services to build them a search engine optimised website with a large amount of user interactivity.
After being given a design concept by a local media company, we implemented a website that met all the requirements of the Gatwick Guest House Association. This design incorporates a randomised homepage grid of guest houses along with a small side window with a summary of their details. This then links to a page with each of the guest houses details on. Additional pages include a facilities page and an individual contact form for each guest house.
We also produced a late availability section which allows each guest house, with their own individual logins to access a back end area where they can add their latest rooms available.
Being an association of many members, being fair was an important part of the project and we had to randomise any section that showed a number of guest houses.
We write the website to be search engine friendly and in addition to the ongoing hosting and maintenance package we carried out a small amount of ongoing SEO work to help promote the website in the search engine. This website generated over 30,000 new visitors per year from natural (non paid) searches on the search engines.
From April 2010, the management of this website is being undertaken by the Chairperson of the organisation.
