is a US based organisation that attempts to both promote and rank SEO companies 'in an independent manner'.

We are sometimes asked why we do not appear in these top rankings. The main reason being that we have not paid a $6,000 annual fee to be listed and ranked.

At the moment, Cornish WebServices (being an SEO company) operate a policy of paying ZERO pounds for any form of advertising, including PPC advertising, email marketing, banner ads, sponsored listings, paid subscriptions for listings, or paying to take part at exhibitions.

It is for this reason alone that we currently do not pay to be listed or ranked within Maybe in time if we need to start attracting more business we will pay $6,000 and ask to get ranked by TopSEOs.

But in 2008 we are still able to generate more than enough new SEO leads (in fact too many) from natural rankings on our website, and our policy of paying ZERO for our own advertising demonstrates that we can successfully use natural search engine Optimisation for our own business.

SEO Company rankings rank SEO companies based on several different factors, but the most important is the feedback from 3 clients, chosen by the SEO company (and not randomly chosen). Not quite so independent! But of course the same is true when any company (including Cornish WebServices) provides search engine Optimisation client references.

For any potential SEO clients, Cornish WebServices are also happy to supply names and contact details for some of our search marketing clients, and can give historic ranking reports.

Marketing with TopSEOs

In principle we agree with the work that are doing, providing a marketing place for larger search engine Optimisation companies to advertise, and providing some form of quality control over their promoted companies. This is a much better model than the many 'top hosting' company websites which are simply link farms in another name.

Selecting a search engine Optimisation listed within TopSEOs does mean they can afford the $6,000/year fees, so you are not dealing with a small inexperienced start up company. But on the other hand many experienced companies may choose not to advertise, and some of the best SEO advice is by freelance consultants. And smaller agencies or companies may give better advice (and have lower overheads).

Search Engine Optimisation Services

Cornish WebServices have been successfully marketing websites on the Internet since 2002 (before search engine Optimisation became popular). Contact one of the first SEO companies for a realistic quotation to naturally optimise your website for increased visibility in the search engines.
