Cornish WebServices designed a website for Hersden Primary School. The website is bright and engaging, providing all the information that parents and teachers may need to know about the school.
There is a list of clubs on the homepage, plus a news and events feed on all pages that will be updated regularly. There are several content blocks along the bottom of the site that link to important documents such as Ofsted Reports and Newsletters.
The design and layout is eye-catching. The classes at Hersden Primary School are named after birds, so there is an attractive boarder design of these birds that features on all pages of the website.
The overall aim is for the website to be simple and engaging so that users will interact with it. For example parents can email the school via the suggestions box. The site fully complies with accessibility standards.
The Hersden School website is also on the Cornish CMS so that the school can make changes and updates to the site content when required.
