CELTA Course Offer for Graduates

19/09/2012

The British Council are currently offering a scheme where university graduates who finished their course in the last three years can apply for 50% off funding for a CELTA or CertTESOL course.

This English teaching graduate scheme offers all the basics needed to begin teaching English as a foreign language. The courses are internationally recognised and allow people to travel abroad to use their English teaching skills, or alternatively teach English in the UK.

There are 60 CELTA and CertTESOL course places available at this special discounted price. The courses are one month long and are taught at a number of training centres across the UK in 2012.

This English teaching graduate scheme funded by the British Council will be particularly welcome at a time when it is becoming increasingly difficult for graduates to use their skills after finishing university.

Those who get a place on one of these courses will be able to broaden their horizons and perhaps turn their teaching skills into a worthwhile career.

The deadline for applications is October 1st 2012. To apply or find out more visit http://englishagenda.britishcouncil.org/english-teaching-graduate-scheme

If you are not one of the lucky ones who gets a place on this subsidised CELTA course then you could consider funding the course yourself at a quality language school such as Concorde International.

This long-established language school offer great quality courses and their CELTA course is an excellent foundation for those wanting to teach English. For more information visit their website at www.concorde-int.com.
