Cornish VLE In the News!

27/09/2011

Cornish WebServices is featured in two leading local newspapers following the successful launch of our homework management tool, the Cornish VLE, at Sturry School two weeks ago.

The Canterbury Times and The Kentish Gazette covered the launch, both sending photographers to take pictures of the event. The Cornish VLE was demonstrated to teachers and invited guests at the launch, who included several Canterbury City and Parish Councillors.

The Cornish VLE or ‘School VLE’ is a great homework tool for primary schools and both papers were keen to emphasise its benefits to local schools. The Canterbury Times quoted Katy Gill, Head of Sturry and Hersden Schools ICT, who pointed out the benefits the system has for all users.

“Every VLE off the shelf was too complicated so we asked Cornish WebServices. They went away to work on it and came back with this fantastic programme. It’s child friendly with lots of pictures and really easy for parents to check up on what’s happening at the school.” website design company

Sturry and Hersden Schools are the first ones to sign up to the system and Cornish WebServices are now pushing out the platform to primary schools across Kent and the whole of the UK.

The School VLE was entirely developed by Cornish WebServices. It is an online system that can be used by teachers, pupils and parents in order to set, complete and manage homework. It is easy to use, accessible and can be made multilingual. For more information on the Cornish VLE or a quote visit www.cornishvle.co.uk
