Search Engine Optimisation Examples

How to find the best SEO companies? The best SEO companies are those that have a list of client websites at the top of the search engines, Because these clients will be very happy with the results, they will remain clients for a long time. This means that successful SEO companies are characterised by:

  • Long standing SEO clients of many years
  • Full client waiting list for SEO work.

By contrast unsuccessful SEO companies are characterised by:

  • Fast turnover of clients
  • Lots of new SEO clients
  • Use of PPC advertising to advertise their SEO services
  • Mass emails advertising their SEO services (as they are unable to attract leads from their own website)
  • Paid links (or sponsorship or membership) in 'top SEO' websites.

Cornish WebServices are only able to take on a proportion of new SEO enquiries. We have clients for our SEO work since 2003 and many clients have gradually given us more website to optimise. 100% of our SEO clients come from personal recommendation or enquiries from our own website. We have never needed to use paid advertising or email marketing to attract new work.

SEO business client since 2003

Cornish WebServices have provided SEO services for a Berkshire business since 2003. We started optimising three websites, and now look after two others as well. Search engine rankings for all target competitive keywords have almost always remained in the top 10 places for the last three years. An impressive record when most SEO companies complained of poor results on occasions because of Google updates. The website is the main lead generation for this rapidly expanding business.

Management Consultancy clients since 2004

Cornish WebServices have created 3 different websites for one management consultant, and now handle all their Internet Marketing, successfully generating new business for the client. In 2007 we launched a new website, gaining first page on Google for their main competitive keyword in just 4 months. We have also created search engine optimised websites for many of their clients.

eCommerce SEO examples - fast results on Google

Shopping carts are notoriously difficult to make search engine friendly. However one online store selling fancy dress approached us for help. After rewriting most of the shopping cart templates and giving advice on updating products in an SEO friendly way, the online shop rose through Google and is now in the top 5 for the main keyword 'fancy dress'. Another satisfied client.

os Commerce eCommerce SEO - clients since 2004

Early versions of os Commerce. were a challenge. But Cornish WebServices enjoy a challenge. Since 2004 this client has enjoyed 'above the fold' (position 1-5) on Yahoo and Google for all main products and product brand names. We also handle the PPC advertising, but at much reduced levels since the website is being maintained on the top page of the two most important search engines. Another example of long term sustained search engine optimisation.

SEO on multiple websites - client since 2004

One client approached us initially to fix a broken ordering system. In doing so we also added a little bit of SEO (a challenge for a two page website!) and surprised ourselves by getting the website onto first page of Yahoo, MSN (which used to be important) and Google. We now carry out ongoing search engine optimisation and web development on all this clients websites, with often more than one website appearing near or at the top of all major search engines for their 3 main keywords. This business has now enjoyed high visibility on the search engines since 2004.

SEO for small accommodation websites

Back in 2002/2003 getting small B&B websites to the top of Google was easy. Sadly no more. But it is possible to generate high quality traffic onto the website from localised searches. This requires the website to be designed and written with this in mind from the start. We have one happy owner of a holiday cottage in Wales who has enjoyed high levels of occupancy since we launched their website back in 2003. Website (and bookings) still going strong, despite being on our smallest level of annual search engine optimisation work.

SEO for niche markets in competitive industries

Amazon is big. Both the river and the bookshop. So how do you compete online with a giant such as Amazon? You target niche markets. Cornish WebServices created the search engine optimised online bookstore BuyLocalBooks.co.uk back in 2002, and this has been generating a steady supply of worldwide book sales. All webpages come up near the top of the search engines for specific local searches. This generates very well targeted traffic, many of whom purchase copies of the books online. Some pages have remained in the coveted number one position of Google since early 2003. An excellent long term SE strategy.

SEO in multiple languages

The Internet makes International marketing easy. Marketing to other countries may require the website to be translated. But successful marketing in other countries requires the translated website to be visible. Hence multilingual search engine optimisation. If this sounds Double Dutch, look at the Dutch website www.total-logistics.nl which was written for the dutch language search engines. Cornish Webservices also have experience of search engine optimisation in other languages (such as French, Spanish and Russian).

For some clients we handle the search engine optimisation in several languages. The UK based company, Total Logistics, is a good example with English and Dutch websites. We;ve been looking after this client's websites since 2006.

Search Engine Optimisation Services

Cornish WebServices have been successfully marketing websites on the Internet since 2002 (before search engine optimisation became popular). Contact us for a realistic quotation to naturally optimise your website for increased visibility in the search engines. As stated above we often have a queue of potential clients for SEO work. We give first priority to new work for existing clients. Second priority are for websites which we think are interesting! Not the best business model for selecting work but it ensures our staff keep happy and motivated.
