WordPress Blog Launches WordAds

WordPress bloggers can now opt into an ad program designed excusively for Wordpress.com users.
WordAds is set to rival Google’s AdSense and give Wordpress users more control and revenue from adverts on their blogs.
This is the first time that WordPress has used adverts on its .com site. They wanted to give bloggers a tailored advertising product that is more beneficial to users than Google’s offering.
