LinkedIn Makes Major Changes

LinkedIn, the social networking site that is used like an online CV for companies and individuals, are making some major changes to their user interface.

LinkedIn have made some significant changes to their homepage, which they are currently rolling out to users. The new homepage layout is said to be simpler and easier to navigate, allowing quicker access to relevant information. It certainly has more colour and interactive features.

Linked are also getting more social by allowing users to add comments and likes to articles that they see on the network. There is also a new ‘Trending in Your Network’ tab that filters articles on LinkedIn today, showing users the most popular articles in their professional network.

So LinkedIn are really making some overhauls to the look and features of their user interface. The largest professional networking site in the world, as it is known, is clearly trying to keep pace with rivals like Facebook in the race to become the world’s most popular social networking site.
