Google’s +1 Launches For Websites

Today Google has launched its +1 button across the whole of the web.
Google has been testing out the +1 button since March in its search results.
Now Google’s answer to the Facebook Like button can be added to websites, as well as seen on Google Search, you will start to see +1s appear in lots of places.
As with Facebook’s Like button, users can +1 a website they like, effectively telling their friends (as Google puts it in their press release) ‘‘this is pretty cool’’.
Google has released a user guide on how to add the +1 button to your site and an animated You Tube video (below) to help people understand their new feature. As they say "the web's a big place, sometimes it helps to have a tour guide".
