Google Display Network Changes

30/03/2012

The Google display network lets online advertisers place PPC ads on a variety of news sites, blogs and other websites across the internet.

Google is now introducing a new Display Network Tab that accumulates previous tabs – the Audience, Topics and Networks tabs – into one.

Specifically there is a new visualisation tool that shows the reach of each type of targeting across your display campaigns, allowing you to better monitor and control your PPC.

This will mean PPC managers can now view data on a keyword by keyword basis on the display network, meaning they won’t have to monitor contextual campaigns at the AdWord level but will instead get an optimised overview.

This overview will allow users to see what overlap there is and accurately target different campaigns to make improvements. This new Display Network Tab marks a major step forward for Google’s Display Advertising.

At Cornish WebServices we constantly monitor pay-per-click news to ensure that our PPC advice is up to date. We can offer an excellent PPC management service to our customers because we are always on top of the latest news and updates in the world of online advertising.
