Watch the Best Films at Home

29/09/2011

This year’s British Film Institute Film Festival (BFI) is coming up, where innovative new British and International films will be shown. From the 12th to the 17th October there will be a variety of films and events to celebrate quality film making.

It is good to show support for British film by going to the cinema, but if you miss the latest release or prefer to watch a film in the comfort of your own home then home cinemas are the answer.

There is now a much shorter space of time between a film’s appearance in the cinema and its release on DVD, usually around three months. So if you see a great Brit Flick advertised at the cinema, it won’t be long before you could be watching it in your home cinema.

Home cinema technology has greatly improved over the last few years, starting with the media the film is played on. Films are now released on DVD and Blu-Ray, which provide much better picture quality than VHS.

The equipment available to watch films is also fantastic. DVD and Blu-Ray players ensure quality film play. Flat screens, surround sound systems and 3D technology also mean you get great picture and sound quality.

Home cinema equipment is also now much more affordable than it used to be. You can get a complete quality system that will give a great movie watching experience at a reasonable price.

So if you are a film buff and enjoy going to the cinema but also watching films at home, then home cinema systems are ideal. Grahams offer a great range of quality home cinema systems. They can give advice on the best equipment to suit you and create bespoke packages to meet your requirements. For more information visit www.grahams.co.uk
